A day without essential oils is like… Just kidding. I have no idea how it is.
So let’s just dive in. Why are these oils so essential?
#1 Shelf Life
When stored in a cool dark place essential oils will last a very long time there is no expiration date on them if correctly stored.
You don’t need to refrigerate them and you don’t need to bury them in a box in the backyard, but if you store them unopened, in a cool, dark place they will last indefinitely.
#2 Self-Sufficiency
When you have essential oils in your plan you will be able to take care of yourself if you need to.
I am talking about things that might come up when you can’t get to the doctor right away. I can’t say that essential oils would cure you. I can’t say that what oils are for what purposes.
I take comfort in knowing that if my child has some kind of an issue or something that I can treat with the oils that I have on hand. I like knowing that I can just go into my box and help somebody out without having to go to the doctor every time there is a problem.
You’re going to want to buy a book or two about essential oils for education or find a trusted source on the web and print off that information.
There may be a time where Google and Pinterest aren’t going to cover it I don’t believe.

#3 Reason to have essential oil and your preparedness plan; It’s just like herbs and natural remedies. They just go along so well together.
It makes sense to be able to take care of yourself.
When they say knowledge is power I totally, wholeheartedly, believe this.
You can go ahead and get all of the gear that you want, but that is not going to help you if you lose your gear or if you get robbed or whatever scenario that ends up being for you.
When it comes to essential oils, it’s a knowledge that you can learn and always have.
I used oil’s largely for first aide, now I used them multiple times a day. It’s an amazing gift to have these oils so that if something were to happen, and there is a grid down situation as a worst case scenario people are going to be having emotional issues and these oil’s will support you in overcoming the emotions. That, to me, is an amazing gift.
