Letter from a Prepper – Speed Painting Our Shed

We finally painted our shed! For the four years we have lived here its been one of the last things on the list to remodel. In fact, we only have few more things to fix before our 1972 mobile home remodel is COMPLETELY DONE.

They include:

  1. buy and install new pump house
  2. install new driveway light
  3. install new porch screens
  4. paint porch
  5. put up new shutters
  6. plant flowers for curb appeal
  7. touch up paint inside the house
  8. paint front steps

I’m hoping these things will be completed in the next couple of months.

Back to the shed.

Our shed has been a total eyesore and I am SO HAPPY Brian painted it. It went from faded pee yellow to a nice gray. We painted it the same gray color as the house which is Summit Gray by Sherwin Williams.

First, Brian pressure washed the shed and to paint it he used a small paint sprayer called the TrueCoat 360 Paint Sprayer by Graco. He actually used this same sprayer to paint the entire exterior of our mobile home. He definitely recommended this sprayer for small jobs (since our home is 975 sf, we consider it a small job).
