How to Avoid Scummy Coffee

If you are anything like me, you love coffee. It was 1998 when I had my first cup of coffee. It was black and in a small white cup that was sorta like milk glass. Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and in basic training, I was dog tired and someone told me to try coffee, “It’ll wake you up.” Did I work? Well, I never fell behind if that counts.

Also, if you’re anything like me, you’ve got hard water. We get ours from our well and there’s plenty of minerals that crust up our faucets and cloud up our dishes. But the one thing that hard water does is makes our coffee look scummy.
